Culture festival of Central Asian countries was held in Seoul

On 13-14 May 2023, a joint cultural festival of Central Asian countries was held in the Republic of Korea.

At the opening ceremony of the two-day spring festival, the Executive Director of the "Central Asia-Republic of Korea" Cooperation Forum Secretariat Mr. Rhee Jong Kook, as well as the heads of the diplomatic missions of the Central Asian countries, accredited to the Republic of Korea, emphasized the importance of organizing such events to increase the mutual enrichment of cultures and the development of humanitarian relations between the Republic of Korea and the Central Asian countries.

The fashion show of national and modern dresses of the women models of the Central Asian countries, made in a unique fashion design, gave great pleasure to the participants of the event. The concert, performed by musicians and masters of art from the Central Asian countries, was held during the festival.

An exhibition dedicated to the unique national traditions, culture, history and achievements of the Kazakh, Kyrgyz, Tajik, Turkmen and Uzbek people was also organized within the framework of this spring festival.

The participants of the cultural festival were also shown the Turkmen movie titled "Seyis" in Korean language, which tells about the efforts to preserve and increase the spiritual and historical heritage of the Turkmen people, in particular, about the dedication demonstrated towards the breed of the Ahal-teke horses, including the transition of their pure breed from generation to generation.
