Turkmenistan sent regular humanitarian aid to Afghanistan
The state policy based on the noble principles of friendship, brotherhood, good neighborliness and humanism of the National Leader of Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, is successfully implemented under the leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
A clear example of this is the humanitarian aid sent on September 11, in accordance with the Order of the head of state, at the expense of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care, on the occasion of the start of construction of the Serhetabat-Herat gas pipeline, power transmission lines, transport and communication on the Turkmen-Afghan border.
The humanitarian aid consists of baby food, wheat, food and industrial products, urea, diesel fuel, gasoline and cement.
This humanitarian action is a continuation of our country’s long-term efforts to support Afghanistan and serves to strengthen the traditional friendship and good neighborliness between the Turkmen and Afghan peoples.
Neutral Turkmenistan, steadfastly adhering to the principles of peacefulness and mutual support, makes a great contribution to the socio-economic development of Afghanistan, maintaining peaceful life in a friendly state.
A representative group of our country and high-ranking officials from the Afghan side took part in the ceremony of transferring the humanitarian cargo.
Residents of the neighboring state, who participated in the acceptance of the humanitarian cargo from Turkmenistan, expressed sincere gratitude to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov for regular assistance and help.
