Ambassador of Hungary to Turkmenistan presented copies of his credentials
On 12 September 2024, a meeting was held in the premises of the MFA of Turkmenistan between the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Ahmet Gurbanov and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Hungary to Turkmenistan (with residence in Tashkent) József Rózsa, who presented copies of his credentials.
During the meeting, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan congratulated the Ambassador on his appointment to the responsible post and expressed readiness of the Turkmen side to render assistance and support in carrying out his diplomatic work.
The interlocutors discussed the issues of further development of bilateral relations in political-diplomatic, trade-economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres. The sides noted the key role of regular meetings on the highest level in the development of traditionally friendly relations and mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries.
The sides also voiced the proposals to intensify trade-economic cooperation, as well as noted constructive collaboration in the field of culture and education.
At the end of the meeting, the diplomats expressed mutual interest in further expansion of multifaceted cooperation.
