On the meeting with the Deputy Prime Minister – Head of the Government Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan

On April 28, 2025, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Rashid Meredov, held a meeting with the Deputy Prime Minister and Head of the Government Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Galymzhan Koishybayev.

The parties discussed the current state and future prospects for bilateral cooperation across political, diplomatic, trade, economic, cultural, and humanitarian sectors. They also exchanged views on the practical implementation of agreements reached during the recent meeting between the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, and the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, held earlier in April.

Energy, transport, trade, digitalization, and industrial cooperation were highlighted as priority areas for strengthening the mutually beneficial partnership.
