The Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Korea participated in the Seoul Friendship Festival

On May 24, 2025, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Korea participated in the Seoul Friendship Festival, organized by the Seoul Metropolitan Government.

At the exhibition organized by the Embassy, items dedicated to Turkmenistan’s ancient history and culture were presented, along with examples of traditional decorative and applied arts and national clothing reflecting the rich and unique customs and traditions of the Turkmen people. The exhibition also featured books and magazines about Turkmenistan, as well as artworks created by Turkmen artists.

A special place on the Embassy’s display wall was given to the books authored by the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, and the National Leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, which attracted great interest from festival attendees.

Additionally, during the Seoul Friendship Festival, participants were introduced by the Embassy to our country's peaceful and positive foreign policy and diplomacy, its great achievements in the socio-economic sphere, effective policies in the cultural and humanitarian fields, as well as the events held in honor of the International Year of Peace and Trust and the 30th anniversary of the Permanent Neutrality of Turkmenistan.
