Telephone Conversation Between the Foreign Ministers of Turkmenistan and the Republic of Croatia

On July 16, 2025, a telephone conversation took place between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Rashid Meredov, and the Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Croatia, Gordan Grlić-Radman.
The foreign ministers discussed the current state of bilateral relations and exchanged views on prospects for the further development of Turkmen-Croatian cooperation across a broad range of areas of mutual interest.
Both parties expressed satisfaction with the positive experience of cooperation between the two countries in international platforms, primarily within the framework of the United Nations. In the context of efforts to promote peace and security, the ministers emphasized their commitment to collaboration within the OSCE.
The development of trade and economic ties was discussed in detail. In this regard, the interlocutors highlighted the significance of the planned visit of the Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Croatia to Turkmenistan in October of this year. During the same period, the fourth meeting of the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Croatian Joint Commission on Economic Cooperation will be held, along with an Economic Forum involving representatives of the business communities of both countries.
The conversation also addressed issues related to the preparation and organization of the Third United Nations Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDC3). The ministers further underscored the importance of the upcoming International Forum for Peace and Trust, scheduled to take place on December 12, 2025, in Ashgabat.
