Meeting with the Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General, Head of UNRCCA

On 10 September 2025, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov held a meeting with the Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General and Head of the United Nations Regional Centre for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia (UNRCCA), Kaha Imnadze.

During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of cooperation between Turkmenistan and UNRCCA in the context of the opening of the 80th session of the UN General Assembly.

The main focus of the talks was on the Priority Positions of Turkmenistan at the 80th session of the UNGA. It was emphasized that many of these positions are in line with the mandate of the Centre. In this regard, the Turkmen side confirmed its readiness for active cooperation with UNRCCA in their implementation.
