Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Meets with Executives of “Bouygues”

On 26 September, the National Leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, held a meeting with the head of the French company Bouygues, Martin Bouygues, who arrived in Turkmenistan to participate in the celebrations marking the 34th anniversary of the country’s independence. The meeting was also attended by Deputy Director General of Bouygues Edward Bouygues, Member of the Board William Bouygues, and Head of Bouygues Bâtiment International Pierre-Éric Saint-André.

Expressing gratitude for the opportunity to meet, the guests sincerely congratulated Hero-Arkadag on the nation’s principal holiday. Martin Bouygues emphasized that it was a great honor for him to work in Turkmenistan, a country confidently advancing along the path of economic growth, and thanked the leadership for the favorable conditions created for the effective activity of foreign companies in the Turkmen market, including Bouygues.

Martin Bouygues also noted the productivity of his earlier meeting with the President of Turkmenistan, during which the current state and prospects for further development of the well-established cooperation were discussed.

Warmly welcoming the guests and thanking them for their congratulations, Hero-Arkadag expressed satisfaction that Bouygues has for decades remained a reliable and time-tested partner of Turkmenistan.

It was emphasized that Turkmenistan has been cooperating with Bouygues for more than 30 years, during which numerous architectural and infrastructure projects have been implemented. This fruitful partnership has directly contributed to strengthening Turkmen–French relations as a whole.

Hero-Arkadag stressed that Turkmenistan is always open to long-term and mutually beneficial cooperation with Bouygues.

Expressing gratitude for the high trust placed in the company, Martin Bouygues assured that under his leadership Bouygues would continue to honor its contractual obligations.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the National Leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Hero-Arkadag, wished the leadership of Bouygues every success in their work.
