A telephone conversation took place between the Foreign Ministers of Turkmenistan and Hungary

On November 12, 2025, Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov held a telephone conversation with Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó.

During the telephone conversation, current issues of Turkmen-Hungarian cooperation in the political, trade, economic, cultural, and humanitarian spheres were discussed. It was emphasized that high-level contacts contribute to the development of bilateral relations.

The parties exchanged views on the prospects for multilateral cooperation between Turkmenistan and Hungary within reputable international organizations, primarily the UN.

Special attention was paid to preparations for the International Forum of Peace and Trust, which will be held on December 12 of this year in Ashgabat.
