Prospects for Turkmen-Turkish cooperation were discussed during a telephone conversation between the foreign ministers.

On November 13, 2025, a telephone conversation took place between Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye Hakan Fidan.

During the conversation, the parties discussed the current state and prospects for the development of Turkmen-Turkish relations, noting the high level of political dialogue and the desire to further strengthen the strategic partnership between the two fraternal states.

The positive experience of interaction between Turkmenistan and Türkiye within international and regional structures, primarily the UN and the Organization of Turkic States, was noted.

The parties also exchanged views on preparations for the International Forum on Peace and Trust, which will be held on December 12 of this year in Ashgabat.
