The Vice president for medical activities of the charity fund for providing assistance to children in need of guardianship named after Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a series of meetings on the sidelines of the international conference
On 10 December 2025, a meeting was held between the Vice President for Medical Activities of the Charity Fund for Providing Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship named after Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Oguljahan Atabayeva, and the Head of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Saida Mirziyoyeva.
The guest noted that issues of global importance were discussed within the framework of the recent International Forum. The organizational level of the forum demonstrates that Turkmenistan has accumulated positive experience in this important area, Saida Mirziyoyeva said, emphasizing that this fact strengthens Turkmenistan’s role in the international arena.
Vice President of the Fund Oguljahan Atabayeva noted that Turkmenistan pays special attention to the development of international cooperation. At the same time, the intensification of relations with close neighbors and fraternal peoples has been identified as one of the key priorities.

On the same day, a meeting took place between Vice President Oguljahan Atabayeva and the Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations, Director-General of the United Nations Office at Geneva, Tatiana Valovaya.

During the meeting, it was noted that in the modern era women leaders in Turkmen society play an important role in various fields, including politics, business, and public life. In accordance with the Constitution of Turkmenistan and generally recognized norms of international law, care for women and strengthening their role in society are among the priority areas of state policy of independent Turkmenistan.

Vice President Oguljahan Atabayeva also met with the President of the National Assembly of the Democratic Republic of São Tomé and Príncipe, Selmira do Sacramento.

Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation and President of the Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons, Natalia Manturova.
During the conversation, it was noted that the main goal of today’s conference is the empowerment of women and the implementation of work in this direction aimed at humanitarian objectives.
As noted, this forum contributes to establishing effective dialogue between governments, international organizations, and civil society representatives in the interests of strengthening the role of women in society. In this regard, the significance of the participation of the delegation of the Russian Federation in this forum was emphasized.
The meeting also included an exchange of views on the development of humanitarian cooperation between the two countries.
