Issues of Interaction Between Turkmenistan and the International Labour Organization Discussed

On December 11, 2025, a meeting was held between the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Myahri Byashimova and the Director of the International Labour Organization Decent Work Technical Support Team and Country Office for Eastern Europe and Central Asia Mikhail Pushkin.

During the meeting the significance of the International Conference "The Role of Women in Modern Society: Developing International Cooperation to Achieve the Sustainable Development Goals" in which the ILO representative Ms. Chidi King participated was noted.

The parties discussed the current status and prospects for developing Turkmenistan’s partnership with the ILO in the coming year.

It was particularly emphasized at the meeting that cooperation with the International Labour Organization is one of the key areas of Turkmenistan's humanitarian interaction with international structures.
