On 11 December 2025, a solemn ceremony was held in Ashgabat, the capital of Turkmenistan, to inaugurate the Monument to the 30th Anniversary of Neutrality and to raise the flags in the square in front of the Neutrality Monument.

This unique structure, built in the form of a circular architectural complex, has become a vivid symbol of Turkmenistan’s positive foreign policy based on the principles of permanent neutrality, which has been recognized three times by the United Nations.

The Monument’s circular external architectural form, symbolizing unity and consistent dialogue, harmoniously combines with the flagpoles arranged in a ring. Its design is dominated by the colors of the flag and emblem of the United Nations—white and blue.

The white color symbolizes peace, openness, and goodwill, while blue reflects universal solidarity and preventive diplomacy, which Turkmenistan actively promotes in the international arena.

The event was attended by numerous members of foreign delegations who arrived in Turkmenistan to take part in the International Forum dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality, the International Year of Peace and Trust, and International Neutrality Day.

Representatives of the Mejlis, members of the Cabinet of Ministers, and heads of ministries and departments of Turkmenistan also took part in the opening ceremony of the Monument.

On the same day, an exhibition dedicated to this significant date was organized at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
