Meeting of Hero-Arkadag with the President of the Kyrgyz Republic

On 11 December 2025, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, welcomed the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadyr Japarov, at Ashgabat International Airport.

In accordance with national traditions, the guest was presented with bread and salt and flowers.

A meeting was then held between the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, and the Head of the friendly state.

Hero-Arkadag thanked President Sadyr Japarov for accepting the invitation to the International Forum marking the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality and for paying a visit to Turkmenistan.

The President of the Kyrgyz Republic expressed gratitude for the invitation to the Forum, which will be held in the Turkmen capital.

During the discussion, mutual interest of Turkmenistan and the Kyrgyz Republic in the further development of traditionally friendly interstate relations across a wide range of areas was noted.
