An interactive dialogue entitled “The Role of Women Diplomats in Society and Their Achievements” was held
On March 10, 2026, an interactive dialogue entitled “The Role of Women Diplomats in Society and Their Achievements” was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan as part of the second seminar for young diplomats and civil servants from Central Asia.
Organized jointly with the Office of the UN Resident Coordinator in Turkmenistan, the event was attended by female employees of missions of foreign countries and international organizations in Turkmenistan, international organizations, representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, female teachers of the institute, and students.
During the seminar, speeches were made by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Mahri Byashimova, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Palestine to Turkmenistan Rana Abu Hijleh, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to Turkmenistan Faryal Leghari, Permanent Representative of the United Nations Development Program in Turkmenistan Narine Saakyan, and Executive Secretary of the National Commission of Turkmenistan for UNESCO Chynar Rustemova.
The speeches paid special attention to the importance of Turkmenistan's permanent policy of Neutrality, emphasizing that this policy is a model for promoting peace-loving initiatives and establishing a reliable dialogue in international relations. It was emphasized that the principle of "Dialogue is a guarantee of peace", carried out on the basis of the principles of Neutrality, further strengthens the role of women in diplomacy and supports their initiatives to ensure peace in the region. Participants emphasized that the skills of women in public administration and international cooperation directly affect the sustainable development of the world.
This conference, held within the framework of the second training conference for young diplomats and civil servants of Central Asia, was effective in enriching the professional experience of young specialists and once again demonstrated the high role of women in the peacemaking diplomacy of Neutral Turkmenistan.
