Ambassador of Turkmenistan participated in an official dinner hosted by the President of the Republic of Korea

On 23 June 2026, Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Korea, Begench Durdyyev, participated in an official dinner hosted by the President of the Republic of Korea, H.E. Mr. Lee Jae Myung, in honour of heads of diplomatic missions accredited in the country and representatives of international organizations.

The event brought together members of the Government of the Republic of Korea, foreign ambassadors and representatives of the international diplomatic community.

Addressing the participants, H.E. Mr. Lee Jae Myung outlined the key priorities of the Republic of Korea's foreign policy and shared his views on current international developments. He emphasized that the Republic of Korea cooperates with the international community on the basis of the universal values of freedom, peace and prosperity. The President also expressed appreciation to foreign diplomats for their role in promoting cooperation between their respective countries and the Republic of Korea.

On the sidelines of the event, Ambassador Begench Durdyyev had a brief conversation with H.E. Mr. Lee Jae Myung, during which he conveyed warm greetings and best wishes from the President of Turkmenistan, H.E. Mr. Serdar Berdimuhamedov, and the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, H.E. Mr. Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. The President of the Republic of Korea expressed gratitude for the greetings and asked that his warm regards and best wishes be conveyed in return to H.E. Mr. Serdar Berdimuhamedov and to H.E. Mr. Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
