Expansion of Opportunities to Travel to Turkmenistan

Meeting with Global Korea Partners Company (GKP) was held on 3rd July in Embassy of Turkmenistan in Seoul. Okryun Lee, President of GKP and Haeyoun Hyun, Manager of GKP discussed with the Ambassador of Turkmenistan in Republic of Korea H.E. Myrat Mammetalyyev about the role of GKP Travel and its plans to attract more Turkmenistan and Korean tourists.

During 2017 Ashgabat Asia Indoor and Martial Arts Game (AIMAG) which will be held this fall, GKP plans to attract tourists with 13 days, 10 days and 7 days special package tour programs including city tours with concept “Turkmenistan mystic land, Tour to ancient city”, visit of opening, closing ceremony and some matches.

Currently, GKP Travel is preparing promotional materials in the Korean language to introduce the special program and is planning to distribute those to AIMAG-related institutes in Korea and major travel agencies.

The both sides assured that will continue collaborate for the expansion and development of two countries tourist exchange activities.
