Ambassador of Turkmenistan held a meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Singapore

On March 12, 2025, during his working visit to the Republic of Singapore, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan B.Durdyyev met with Mr. Samuel Tan, Director-General of the Middle East, North Africa, and Central Asia Directorate of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Singapore. During the meeting, the sides discussed a wide range of issues on the agenda of Turkmenistan-Singapore relations. In particular, they exchanged views on organizing high-level visits, conducting political consultations, enhancing cooperation within parliaments and international organizations, expanding economic and trade relations, and intensifying exchanges of cultural delegations. Ambassador B. Durdyyev informed the Singaporean side about events planned in Turkmenistan and abroad dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's Neutrality, as well as the declaration by the UN General Assembly of 2025 as the "International Year of Peace and Trust," especially highlighting the High-level International Forum to be held on December 12 this year, and presented the Concept outlining Turkmenistan’s activities and priority directions within the framework of the International Year of Peace and Trust.
