A meeting of Ambassador of Turkmenistan with the Minister in the Prime Minister's Office of the Republic of Singapore

On March 21, 2024, within the framework of the working visit to the Republic of Singapore, Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Korea and to the Republic of Singapore H.E. Mr. Begench Durdyyev met with the Minister in the Prime Minister's Office of the Republic of Singapore H.E. Mr. Mohamad Maliki bin Osman. The meeting took place on the premises of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Singapore.

During the meeting, the Sides discussed issues related to the implementation of the goals and objectives set before the foreign ministries of the two countries aimed at strengthening and developing of the bilateral relations and all-round mutually beneficial cooperation. Ambassador Durdyyev briefed the Minister on the large-scale events scheduled to be held this year in Turkmenistan and abroad within the framework of proclaiming of the year 2024 as the Year of  "The Fount of Wisdom of Magtymguly Fragi", as well as on the process of successful implementation of the second phase of the construction of the "smart" city of Arkadag, including the interest of the Turkmen side in mutual exchanges of experience and development of cooperation with the Republic of Singapore in various fields.

In his turn, H.E. Mr. Mohamad Maliki bin Osman expressed his appreciation to the Turkmen side for the continued support of the candidacy of the Republic of Singapore in the international organizations, expressing his readiness to continue contributing to strengthening of mutual relations and cooperation with Turkmenistan.
