Turkmenistan's interaction with the UN Regional Center for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia was discussed

On September 18, 2024, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov held a meeting with the Special Representative of the United Nations Secretary-General, Head of the UN Regional Center for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia (UNRCCA) Kakha Imnadze.

During the meeting, the parties discussed current issues of interaction, in particular the implementation of UNRCCA projects and programs with the participation of Turkmenistan.

The importance of Turkmenistan's multifaceted partnership with the UN in the context of the opening of the 79th session of the General Assembly was also noted.

Particular attention was paid to the possibilities of increasing UNRCCA cooperation with the states of the region.
