The International Conference “Year of Peace and Trust: Development of International Activities for the Sake of Children” was held in Arkadag city

On March 29, 2025, the International Conference “Year of Peace and Trust: Development of International Activities for the Sake of Children” was held in Arkadag city to mark the fourth anniversary of the establishment of the Charity Fund for Providing Assistance to Children in Need of Care named after Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

This signifiçant event was attended by leadership and representatives of governmental structures and public organizations of the Republic of Austria, Republic of Armenia, Republic of Belarus, Georgia, Islamic Republic of Iran, Republic of India, Republic of Kazakhstan, People’s Republic of China, Kyrgyz Republic, Islamic Republic of Pakistan, French Republic, Russian Federation, Republic of Tajikistan, Republic of Türkiye, Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as international organizations.

Among the participants of the conference were heads and representatives of ministries and departments of Turkmenistan, public organizations, higher educational institutions and mass media.

Celebrating its fourth anniversary of establishment in the International Year of Peace and Trust and the 30th anniversary of the permanent neutrality of the Homeland, the Fund was founded upon the initiative of Hero-Arkadag.

In the Epoch of New Revival of a powerful state under the leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, the policy aimed at bringing up a healthy and happy, patriotic, highly moral and courageous young generation is being successfully implemented. Modern kindergartens, schools, physical training and health complexes are being built in all regions of the country, as well as favorable living conditions are being developed for happy children, allowing them to receive a full-fledged education, expand their world horizon and develop high moral qualities.

Ensuring the healthy development of young generation, both physical and spiritual, and protecting the health of mothers and children is one of the most important areas of state policy of the country. Establishment of the Charity Fund for Providing Assistance to Children in Need of Care named after Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov for this purpose is a proof of care for every child. Such noble deeds are rooted in the humane traditions of our ancestors.
