The Foreign Ministers of Turkmenistan and Indonesia Discussed Bilateral Cooperation by Telephone

On October 20, 2025, a telephone conversation was held between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia Sugiono.

During the conversation, the parties discussed current and future areas of bilateral relations.

The effective, long-standing cooperation between Turkmenistan and Indonesia within international organizations, primarily the United Nations, was particularly emphasized.

In this context, the foreign ministers agreed to continue to make every effort to work together within the Community of Nations, including implementing initiatives put forward by Turkmenistan and Indonesia on international platforms.

The ministers also discussed issues related to the organization of the International Forum on Peace and Trust, which will be held in Ashgabat on December 12 of this year in honor of the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's permanent neutrality, the International Year of Peace and Trust, and International Neutrality Day.
