Meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan with the Head of the Austrian-Turkmen Society

On December 15, 2025, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Myahri Byashimova met with the Head of the Austrian-Turkmen Society Neda Berger, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

During the meeting, the sides noted the fruitful nature of cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Austria, particularly in cultural and humanitarian areas.

In this context, significant personal contribution of Neda Berger to further strengthening of bilateral ties between the two countries was noted. The parties discussed future plans and projects for 2026, with the active participation of the Austrian-Turkmen Society.

At the meeting, gratitude was expressed to Neda Berger for her active participation in events dedicated to the International Year of Peace and Trust, the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's permanent Neutrality, and International Neutrality Day.

Neda Berger also gratefully accepted the congratulations of the Turkmen side on the occasion of the official awards received by her.
