Presentation of the book by the president of Turkmenistan in the Azerbaijani language held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan

On 21 October 2026, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan hosted the presentation of the book by the president of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov “The Neutrality of Turkmenistan: the Bright Path of Peace and Trust,” published in the Azerbaijani language.

The event was attended by heads and representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, of the diplomatic corps accredited in the country, and of the scientific and academic community.

In the speeches, the consistency of the positive foreign policy course of Neutral Turkmenistan was noted, as well as its significant role in resolving current issues of the international agenda. The importance of the philosophy of neutrality in promoting constructive international initiatives, reflected in the book by the president of Turkmenistan, was emphasized.

Special attention during the event was paid to the development of Turkmen-Azerbaijani relations, based on the historical, cultural and spiritual closeness of the two fraternal peoples.

In addition, the participants noted the importance of the cultural and humanitarian direction of bilateral cooperation, including the “Mother Nature” international art exhibition, organized by the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship together with the Heydar Aliyev Foundation of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

It was noted that the translation and publication of significant works in the languages of friendly countries helps deepen mutual understanding, expand scientific and cultural exchanges, and introduce a wide audience to the history, values and foreign policy priorities of Turkmenistan.

The presentation of the book became an important event in the development of cultural and humanitarian cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Azerbaijan, confirming the importance of further strengthening ties in the fields of science, education and culture.
