Bilateral cooperation between Turkmenistan and Iran was discussed at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

On November 8, 2025, Turkmenistan's Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov met with Hamid Ghanbari, Deputy Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran for Economic Affairs.
