A Telephone Conversation Took Place Between the Foreign Ministers of Turkmenistan and Zambia

On June 30, 2025, a telephone conversation was held between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Rashid Meredov, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Republic of Zambia, Mulambo Haimbe.

During the conversation, the parties exchanged views on the further development of bilateral relations in the political-diplomatic and trade-economic spheres.

They also discussed bilateral cooperation within international organizations, particularly within the framework of the United Nations.

In this context, the foreign ministers considered issues related to preparations for the Third United Nations Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDC3).

It is noteworthy that the Republic of Zambia actively participated in the UN Ministerial Transport Conference for Landlocked Developing Countries, held on August 15–16, 2022.
