Telephone conversation between the heads of the foreign ministries of Turkmenistan and the United Arab Emirates

On November 13, 2025, a telephone conversation took place between Turkmenistan's Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov and Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the United Arab Emirates.

Noting the rapid development of bilateral relations, the ministers discussed key issues of Turkmen-UAE cooperation in the political, trade, economic, cultural, and humanitarian spheres.

During the conversation, they emphasized the importance of interaction within international organizations, including the UN, the OIC, and other bodies, as well as the importance of mutual support for initiatives promoted by the parties at multilateral forums.

Preparations for the International Forum on Peace and Trust, which will be held in Ashgabat on December 12, 2020, were also discussed.
