The presentation of the new book of the President of Turkmenistan "Türkmenistanyň Bitaraplygy – parahatçylygyň we ynanyşmagyň aýdyň ýoly" was held at the Institute of International Relations of the MFA of Turkmenistan

On December 7, 2025, a solemn ceremony was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan to present the new book of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov titled "Türkmenistanyň Bitaraplygy – parahatçylygyň we ynanyşmagyň aýdyň ýoly".

The event was attended by leaderahip and staff of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, heads of diplomatic missions and representative offices of international organizations accredited in Turkmenistan, heads of diplomatic missions and consular offices of Turkmenistan abroad, faculty and students of the institute, as well as media representatives.

The program opened with a performance by students of the institute, who presented the literary and musical composition "Bitaraplyk – biziň baky bagtymyz" ("Neutrality is our eternal happiness").

The event featured speeches by the Rector of the Institute of International Relations of the MFA of Turkmenistan Gulshat Yusupova; Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, Minister of Foreign Affairs Rashid Meredov; Permanent Representative of Turkmenistan to the UN (New York) Aksoltan Atayeva, and Head of the UN Regional Centre for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia Kaha Imnadze.

In their speeches, the participants emphasized the importance of the publication of the new book of the President of Turkmenistan "Türkmenistanyň Bitaraplygy – parahatçylygyň we ynanyşmagyň aýdyň ýoly", which presents a comprehensive and profound analysis of the policy of permanent neutrality. As noted in the book, the main purpose of Turkmenistan’s neutral status is to direct its geopolitical and geoeconomic potential toward ensuring peaceful life and creative development in accordance with international obligations and international legal norms.

It was highlighted that the work of the Head of State pays special attention to the ancient roots of Turkmen neutrality. In this context, the modern diplomacy of neutral Turkmenistan is presented as a continuation of the historical heritage of the Turkmen people, adapted to the realities of the new era.

Speakers noted that the publication became a valuable gift from the esteemed President to the people of Turkmenistan and the international community on the eve of the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s Neutrality and the International Day of Neutrality.

At the end of the event, the participants adopted an Address to the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
