The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan held a meeting with the US Ambassador

On September 18, 2024, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov held a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of America to Turkmenistan Elizabeth Rood.

During the meeting, the parties discussed current issues of bilateral partnership between Turkmenistan and the United States in a wide range.

Along with this, the parties noted the importance of interaction within the framework of the "C5+1" format, which includes five Central Asian countries and the United States. It was emphasized that the participants of this format successfully cooperate in such areas as security, economics, energy and ecology.
