Meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan with a Senator of the French Republic, Member of the France–Central Asia Friendship Parliamentary Group

On June 25, 2025, a meeting was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan between Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Ms. M. Byashimova, and Senator of the French Republic and member of the France–Central Asia Friendship Parliamentary Group, Ms. Samantha Cazebonne.

During the meeting, the parties emphasized the role of interparliamentary cooperation, particularly within the framework of the France–Central Asia Friendship Group.

The importance of conducting bilateral meetings between the foreign ministries of the two countries was also acknowledged.

Special attention was given to cooperation in the field of education, especially between the higher education institutions of Turkmenistan and France.

Expressing gratitude for France's support of Turkmenistan’s policy of neutrality and collaboration within international organizations, Ms. Byashimova reaffirmed Turkmenistan’s readiness to enhance an active interparliamentary dialogue.

Both sides underscored the importance of organizing high-level and parliamentary visits.
