The Embassy of Turkmenistan hosts official handover ceremony of cultural exhibition items to the National Asian Culture Center of the Republic of Korea

On 17 October 2025, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Korea hosted an official handover ceremony of cultural exhibition items provided by the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan to the National Asian Culture Center of the Republic of Korea. The ceremony was attended by the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Korea, Begench Durdyyev, and the Director of the National Asian Culture Center, Kim Sang-wook.

Among the items transferred were items of traditional applied arts reflecting the richness and uniqueness of Turkmen culture, as well as books and publications on the history, culture, and art of the Turkmen people. Notably, the collection includes works authored by the National Leader of the Turkmen People, the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, as well as by the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov.

The collection will be showcased during the upcoming commemorative events marking the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the National Asian Culture Center, scheduled to take place on 25 November 2025.

Following the official ceremony, a working meeting was held during which both sides discussed prospects for further development of cooperation in the cultural sphere, including exhibition exchanges and joint cultural events.
