Hero-Arkadag Holds Meeting with the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan

On 11 December 2025, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, welcomed the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, at the airport. The guest was presented with bread and salt and flowers.

A meeting between Hero-Arkadag and the Head of State of Kazakhstan then took place at the same location.

The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, thanked President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev for accepting the invitation to participate in the International Forum dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality. “This is a sign of the high respect of the Republic of Kazakhstan and its fraternal people for the neutrality of our country and the Turkmen people,” Hero-Arkadag said.

Expressing gratitude for the invitation, President Tokayev noted the great significance of the upcoming International Forum in Ashgabat, which has generated strong interest from the international community.

In this regard, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev emphasized that it was a great honor for him to take part in the celebratory events and the representative Forum marking International Neutrality Day and the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s neutrality.

During the meeting, the prospects for further development of Turkmen–Kazakh cooperation in various areas were discussed. It was noted that Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan are focused on expanding interaction and are committed to implementing the agreements reached.

Expressing confidence in the successful and progressive development of Turkmen–Kazakh partnership, the interlocutors exchanged best wishes.
