PRIME-MINISTER OF THE REPUBLIC OF UZBEKISTAN MET WITH THE PRESIDENT OF TURKMENISTAN ON THE SIDELINES OF THE FIRST CASPIAN ECONOMIC FORUM

On the 11th of August 2019, a delegation of the Republic of Uzbekistan headed by the Prime-minister of the country Abdulla Aripov arrived to Turkmenbashi city to attend the First Caspian Economic Forum. 

On August 12, the Prime-minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan A.Aripov was received by the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.  During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on current issues of bilateral cooperation in political, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres.  It was noted that the two fraternal countries intend to develop further mutually beneficial relations on different aspects of bilateral cooperation.

During the talks, the high-level guest noted that the First Caspian Economic Forum initiated by the President of Turkmenistan has become an effective platform for the widening of mutually beneficial cooperation between the Caspian littoral states and business partners.  During the meeting, the parties also spoke about the achievements of Uzbekistan in the field of high technologies and automobile industry.
