2019 년 2 월 1 일에 대사관은 고영선 한국 개발 연구원 (KDI) 국제개발협력센터 소장을 만났다. 회담에서 양측은 투르크메니스탄과 연구소 간의 협력 발전에 대한 견해를 교환했다. 사회 경제적 개발의 다양한 분야에서 지식 공유 프로그램을 시행하는 것을 포함하여 여러 분야에서 협력에 대한 전망이 주목되었다.

2019 년 2 월 1 일 서울에서 한-중앙아 협력 포럼 사무국 집행위원회 회의가 열렸다. 회의 중에 대사관, 외교부 및 사무국 대표들이 한-중앙아 간의 협력 포럼의 틀 속에서 협력 증진에 관한 방향을 논의했다. 참석자들은  2019 년에 사무국 업무 프로그램에 대한 견해를 교환하고 여러 가지 조직적 문제에 관해 논의했다.
