2019년 1월 15일, 투르크메니스탄 대사관은 라운드테이블을 개최했다. 한국태양광산업협회, 한중앙아친선협회 그리고 여러 한국 기업들이 참여를 했다. 본 회의에서 참석자들은 투르크메니스탄의 투자와 경제적 잠재력과 시행 된 프로그램에 대해 알게되었다. 또한 참가자들은 재생 가능 에너지의 미래에 대한 견해와 투르크메니스탄과의 협력에 대한 전망을 교환했다.

2019년 1월 11일 주한 투르크메니스탄 대사관은 이옥련 한중앙아 친선 협회 회장에게 <독립, 영세중립국 투르크메니스탄> 기념 메달과 증서 (책) 수여하는 행사를 가졌다. 본 수여식에 한국에 공부를 하는 투르크메니스탄 유학생들과 외교관들이 참석을 했다. 수여식 중에 이옥련 회장님의 대한민국과 투르크메니스탄 관계를 강화하는 성과가 주목 받았다. 이옥련 회장이 투르크메니스탄 대통령님께 감사 말씀을 전달 하며 투르크메니스탄과 한국간의 양자 관계를 더욱 강화하고 포괄적으로 발전시키기를 기원했다.
