About the meeting with the Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to Turkmenistan

On December 19, 2024, a meeting was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan between Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Ahmed Gurbanov and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to Turkmenistan Arsen Avagyan.

During the meeting, an interested exchange of views took place on the priority areas of the dynamically developing Turkmen-Armenian partnership.

The Deputy Minister and the Plenipotentiary Representative of the Republic of Armenia emphasized that the countries successfully cooperate in bilateral and multilateral formats, support each other within the framework of authoritative international structures.

It was noted that the activities of the joint Intergovernmental Commission play a major role in enhancing trade and economic ties.

During the conversation, the parties noted the importance of the participation of the President of the Republic of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan in October of this year in the international forum “The Interconnection of Times and Civilizations - the Basis of Peace and Development”, dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the birth of Makhtumkuli Fragi.

The diplomats also emphasized the importance of ties in the cultural and humanitarian sphere as an integral factor in bringing peoples closer together.
