The Ambassador of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea presented copies of his credentials to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan

On December 15, 2025, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Serdar Muhammetdurdyev met with the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea to Turkmenistan (with residence in Moscow), Luciano Nkogo Ndong Ayekaba, who presented copies of his credentials.

During the meeting, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan congratulated the Ambassador on the appointment to the responsible post and wished to him success in his work. The commitment of Turkmenistan and the Republic of Equatorial Guinea to developing bilateral relations in the political, trade, economic, cultural, and humanitarian spheres was emphasized.

The parties discussed opportunities to strengthen the legal framework for cooperation.

Speaking about interaction within international organizations, the diplomats noted the effectiveness of cooperation within the United Nations.

In addition, the sides discussed the possibility of establishing trade, economic, and cultural ties.

During the meeting, Ambassador Luciano Nkogo Ndong Ayekaba expressed gratitude to the Turkmen side for their congratulations and assured that he would make every effort to take bilateral relations to a qualitatively new level.
